PLCnext Store Release Show

At the SPS IPC Drives 2018 in Nuremberg, Phoenix Contact presented the PLCnext Store, a digital marketplace for software in industrial automation. NSYNK developed an Augmented Reality show to visualize the abstract concept of the store and its benefits for the users.

The show featured a presenter who interacted with virtual objects and data streams, explaining the functionality of the PLCnext Store. The audience could follow the presentation on a large LED screen, which showed the augmented reality view of the stage.

We created a series of interactive elements, such as a virtual robot, a ship and a reindeer, which demonstrated the versatility of the PLCnext Store. The 3D assets were rendered in real-time and seamlessly integrated into the live video feed.
