WORLD PREMIERE OF THE NEW TOUAREG

We created a virtual world that extended the physical stage into infinity. The virtual set extension was tracked in real-time and rendered in 4K resolution. The result was a seamless blend of reality and virtuality, which allowed the presenters to interact with the virtual environment.

For the speech of Dr. Herbert Diess, Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG, we created a series of augmented reality charts that illustrated the key features of the new Touareg. The charts were tracked to the stage and appeared to float in mid-air next to the speaker.

A special highlight was the appearance of a virtual reindeer, which walked across the stage and interacted with the real car. The reindeer was animated in real-time and reacted to the movements of the car and the camera.
