For many corporations, companies and agencies digitally rethinking live events was the main theme for 2020. Along these lines, we helped our friends at Mutabor develop a state-of-the-art hybrid event concept for Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Buses called “Shaping the Now & Next”.
We designed, created and operated a small-scale, mobile solution that transformed the Mercedes-Benz visitor center in Wörth am Rhein into a fully-fledged virtual production studio running on the Unreal Engine with two tracked cameras, an LED and a green screen.

Our mixed reality stage may have measured only 15sqm, but managed to create an infinite brand space seamlessly integrating the speaker into themed 3D environments and overcome the physical boundaries of the visitor center.
To us, the magic of this solution lies in its simplicity. A low-impact, but high-tech setting that feels intuitive, enables meaningful global communication and expands the notion of what is possible.
